In a quiet village nestled in the green hills of Narikkuni, Kerala, there is a patch of land—just 50 cents wide—that holds the weight of a thousand dreams. It may look ordinary today, but in the hearts of nine extraordinary families, it is nothing less than sacred ground.

These are not just families. They are warriors. Each one is raising a differently-abled child, often in isolation, battling poverty, stigma, and the silent heartbreak of a society that still doesn’t fully understand or support them.

Despite their daily struggles, these parents wake up with one prayer:
“Who will care for my child when I’m no longer here?”

💔 Why We Need Your Help

Most of these families live in vulnerable housing—some in broken sheds, some in one-room rentals without toilets. Their children require lifelong care, but the families are often forced to choose between caregiving and earning a living.

That’s why we created Vellnest — a community living project by Vellnez Foundation, where love replaces loneliness, and dignity replaces despair.

We plan to build 10 safe, permanent homes on this land—one for each family. But it’s not just a shelter. Vellnest will also include a livelihood center, where parents can earn, learn, and grow while caring for their child—with support from others just like them.

💡 The Total Cost: ₹1 Crore. That’s ₹10.0 lakhs per family. It covers land development, building, sanitation, power, and all the shared facilities as mentioned above.

കേരളത്തിലെ കോഴിക്കോട്, നരിക്കുനിയിലെ 50 സെന്റ് സ്ഥലം, ആയിരം സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾക്ക് സാക്ഷിയായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. ഇന്ന് ഇതൊരു സാധാരണ ഭൂമി പോലെ തോന്നാമെങ്കിലും, പത്ത്  അസാധാരണ കുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ഇത് ഒരു പുണ്യഭൂമിയാണ്.

ഇത് സാധാരണ കുടുംബങ്ങളല്ല; ജീവിതത്തോട് പോരാടുന്ന യോദ്ധാക്കളാണിവർ. ഓരോ കുടുംബത്തിലും പ്രത്യേക പരിഗണന അർഹിക്കുന്ന ഒരു കുഞ്ഞുണ്ട്. ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടും, ദാരിദ്ര്യത്തിലും, സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ അവഗണനയിലും, അവർക്ക് ലഭിക്കേണ്ട പിന്തുണയുടെ അഭാവത്തിലും ഈ മാതാപിതാക്കൾ നിശബ്ദമായി വേദനിക്കുകയാണ്.

എങ്കിലും, ഓരോ ദിവസവും അവർ ഒരു പ്രാർത്ഥനയോടെയാണ് ഉണരുന്നത്:

"ഞാനില്ലാതായാൽ എന്റെ കുഞ്ഞിന് ആരുണ്ടാകും?"

ഈ കുടുംബങ്ങളിൽ പലരും ജീർണ്ണിച്ച ഷെഡ്ഡുകളിലോ, ശൗചാലയം പോലുമില്ലാത്ത ഒറ്റമുറി വാടകവീടുകളിലോ ആണ് താമസിക്കുന്നത്. അവരുടെ കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ജീവിതകാലം മുഴുവൻ പരിചരണം ആവശ്യമാണ്. എന്നാൽ, കുട്ടികളെ പരിചരിക്കുന്നതിനും കുടുംബം പുലർത്തുന്നതിനും ഇടയിൽ അവർക്ക് പലപ്പോഴും തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് നടത്തേണ്ടിവരുന്നു.

ഇതിനൊരു പരിഹാരമായാണ് വെൽനെസ്റ്റ് പിറവിയെടുത്തത് — വെൽനെസ് ഫൗണ്ടേഷൻ്റെ ഒരു സാമൂഹിക ഭവന പദ്ധതി. ഇവിടെ സ്നേഹം ഒറ്റപ്പെടലിനെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കുന്നു, ആത്മാഭിമാനം നിസ്സഹായതയ്ക്ക് പകരമാകുന്നു.

ഈ 50 സെന്റ് സ്ഥലത്ത് 10 സുരക്ഷിതവും സ്ഥിരവുമായ വീടുകൾ നിർമ്മിക്കാനാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത് — ഓരോ കുടുംബത്തിനും ഓരോ വീട്. ഇതൊരു വെറും വീടല്ല; വെൽനെസ്റ്റിൽ ഒരു ഉപജീവന കേന്ദ്രവും ഉണ്ടാകും. ഇവിടെ മാതാപിതാക്കൾക്ക് തങ്ങളുടെ കുട്ടികളെ പരിപാലിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ജോലി ചെയ്യാനും, പഠിക്കാനും, വളരാനും സാധിക്കും — അവരെപ്പോലുള്ള മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ പിന്തുണയോടെ.

• കുട്ടികൾക്കായുള്ള തെറാപ്പി സെന്റർ (മറ്റുള്ളവർക്കും ഉപയോഗിക്കാം)

• രക്ഷാകർത്താക്കൾക്കായുള്ള പിന്തുണ പരിപാടികൾ

• മാതാപിതാക്കൾക്ക് സ്ഥിരമായ തൊഴിലവസരങ്ങൾ (കരകൗശല വസ്തുക്കൾ, തയ്യൽ, കൃഷി, കോൾ സെന്റർ തുടങ്ങിയവ)

💡 മൊത്തം ചെലവ്: ₹1 കോടി

ഒരു കുടുംബത്തിന് ഏകദേശം ₹10 ലക്ഷം. ഇതിൽ ഭൂമി വികസനം, കെട്ടിട നിർമ്മാണം, ശുചിത്വം, വൈദ്യുതി, മറ്റ് പൊതുസൗകര്യങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.

നിങ്ങൾ നൽകുന്ന ഓരോ രൂപയും ഈ കുട്ടികൾക്കും അവരുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കൾക്കും സ്നേഹത്തിന്റെയും സുരക്ഷിതത്വത്തിന്റെയും ഒരു ഇഷ്ടികയായി മാറും.
