1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VellServe.org, a platform operated by Vellnez Foundation Trust, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all visitors, donors, beneficiaries, and users of the platform. If you disagree with any part of the terms, please discontinue use of our platform immediately.
2. Platform Description
VellServe is a charitable crowdfunding platform under the Vellnez Foundation Trust. Our goal is to assist deserving individuals and organizations by enabling online donation campaigns focused on healthcare, education, and preventive welfare. The platform is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We make no guarantees on outcomes and act solely as a facilitator between donors and beneficiaries.
3. Eligibility
To donate or participate in any fundraising activity, users must be 18 years or older. By using our platform, you affirm that you are of legal age and capable of entering into a binding agreement.
4. Donations
All donations are final, non-refundable, and are made voluntarily by the donor. VellServe processes donations via third-party payment gateways which may impose nominal transaction fees. Donations are not investments and do not offer financial returns.
5. Campaign Validation and Transparency
Every campaign is thoroughly verified before publishing. This includes collecting relevant documents (like identity proofs, medical certificates, or NGO registration certificates), speaking to beneficiaries, and where necessary, validating the cause via hospital or institution records. VellServe does not guarantee the success or outcome of the campaign
6. Fund Disbursement and Utilization
Funds are transferred to verified beneficiaries or partner institutions. In cases of excess funds or non-utilization due to unforeseen reasons (such as recovery or death of the patient), remaining funds may be allocated to a similar case or a general relief fund at the discretion of the Trust. Full transparency of fund utilization is maintained via internal audits.
7. Misuse and Fraud
Any attempt to misrepresent, misuse the platform, create fake campaigns, or embezzle funds will result in immediate removal from the platform and reporting to legal authorities. Donors are also encouraged to report suspicious campaigns.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the site including logos, campaign data, visuals, and text are owned by Vellnez Foundation Trust. Unauthorized copying, redistribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
9. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes, the matter shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. We encourage resolution through mutual understanding prior to legal escalation.
10. Modifications to Terms
VellServe reserves the right to revise these terms at any time. Users are encouraged to review the terms periodically. Continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
1. Purpose of Platform Fees
To ensure the secure, efficient, and transparent functioning of the VellServe crowdfunding platform, a nominal platform fee may be levied on each successful donation. This fee enables the continued maintenance of our technology infrastructure, beneficiary verification, donor communications, and compliance with relevant financial and legal obligations.
2. Nature and Structure of Fees
The following components may be included in the total deduction from a donation:
- Platform Fee: Up to 5% of the donation amount, collected by VellServe (Vellnez Foundation Trust).
- Payment Gateway Charges: 1–2.5% of the transaction amount, depending on the payment processor used.
- Optional Tip: Donors may choose to add a tip voluntarily to support platform development.
3. Transparency and Communication
- All fee structures will be clearly displayed on the donation interface before a transaction is completed.
- VellServe does not claim that 100% of donations reach the beneficiary unless no deductions are made.
- Detailed summaries of fund disbursement, fee utilization, and receipts are provided to campaigners and donors upon request.
4. Use of Platform Fees
All platform fees collected are exclusively used for non-profit administrative functions, including:
- Server hosting, app security, and infrastructure costs
- Beneficiary onboarding and verification
- Support staff salaries and case managers
- Legal and compliance audits
These fees help VellServe sustain its operations while maximizing the social impact of every rupee donated.
5. No Profit Distribution
Vellnez Foundation Trust is a not-for-profit entity under Indian law. All collected platform fees are reinvested in operations and service improvements. No funds are distributed as profit or dividends to any individual or group
